On 8 January 2025, the Ambassador of Pakistan to Rwanda, Naeem Khan, visited Hope Foundation Institute located in Muhanga District.
The visit aimed to strengthen the cooperation and friendship between Pakistan and Rwanda, particularly in the field of education. Through the Africa–Asia initiative, the project promotes the development of education in schools by integrating sports and learning, recognizing that both play an important role in the growth of young students.

During the visit, Ambassador Naeem Khan highlighted the support provided to Hope Foundation Institute and expressed his commitment to continuing collaboration through this initiative.
The Director of Hope Foundation Institute, Dusabimana Violette, expressed her appreciation for the visit, noting that it encouraged the school to further strengthen sports activities for students. She also encouraged other schools to give children more opportunities to participate in different sports.

Students of the institute were delighted to receive sports equipment and expressed their commitment to using them well to improve their skills and teamwork.
Several sports competitions organized by Hope Foundation Institute were also concluded during the visit. In the boys’ football category, the Hope Foundation team won against E.P Gifumba, while in the girls’ handball category, the Hope Foundation team defeated GS Nyabisindu.
Hope Foundation Institute, founded in 2016, currently has 360 students enrolled in nursery and primary education and is preparing to open a secondary school level in the near future.
